Bug Jam 24

Bug Jam’s Got Talent
Main Stage, Saturday 4pm

We’re giving contestants 3 minutes each to show off their talent on the Bug Jam main stage. The great thing is, YOU pick what your talent is!

BJGT

We’ve always known that Bug Jammer’s were a talented lot, and in its first two years, BJGT has proved exactly that. Much like its predecessor (Mr & Miss Bug Jam), BJGT is certain to be funny, feisty and farcical. If you can entertain a crowd for 3 minutes, then you’re in with a chance. It’s no longer good enough to just look pretty… although much like the fickle world of pop… it can of course help!

So, how does BJGT work?

We invite to the stage contestants one at a time, and they are given just three minutes in front of the crowd. If an act is spectacularly terrible, it might be considerably less than that! But the important thing is to impress the three judges and win over the audience. Once everyone has performed in turn, the top three acts are selected by the judges and then the crowd pick the winner.

What “talents” are OK?

Singing, dancing, firebreathing, juggling, painting… whatever!

What is the prize?

Love, adulation, a trophy, a pat on the back, a kiss on the cheek and £200 cash. Every contestant gets a ticket refund too to thank them for taking part.

How can I take part?

Online entries have now closed but if you come along to the Main Stage between 3.30pm and 4pm on the day there may be some room.

We will provide you with: A stage and a mic, and if you have any props you need, such as a CD to sing to etc, make sure you bring it with you.

When is it?

Main Stage, Saturday 4pm.

Can I ask one more question?

No.

Entry open to over 16 years of age only. We can’t guarantee to protect youngsters from disappointment or foul language, so this part of Bug Jam is for adults only.
