The All-New Mr & Miss Bug Jam!

“Bug Jam’s Got Talent”

We know that Bug Jammer’s are a talented lot, and it hasn’t been doing you justice to simply slog it out in the Mr & Miss competitions of the past. So here’s a cool new idea that should be fun to take part in, and fun to watch too. BJGT

We’re giving Mr & Miss contestants 3 minutes each to show off their talent on the Bug Jam main stage. The great thing is, YOU pick what your talent is!

Here’s some ideas that you might want to try:

  • Sing a song
  • BMX flatland tricks
  • Juggling / poi / diablo skillz
  • Play the banjo
  • Speed painting
  • Breakdancing
  • Booty shakin’
  • Speed eating
  • Stand up comedy
  • Human beatbox
  • Magic tricks
  • Puppetry of the penis (Ok, maybe not)
  • The more creative the better!

We will provide you with: A stage and a mic, and if you have any props you need, such as a CD to sing to etc, make sure you bring it with you.

We’ll have top talent judges Simon Cow-Eel, Amanda Holdem, and P. Arsemorgan on hand to rate the contestants, and the top scorers will be declared Mr & Miss Bug Jam and win £200 each! Every competitor will also get a FREE ticket to thank them for taking part (buy your ticket as normal and receive refund on the day).

Bug Jam's Got Talent will be taking place on Saturday at 4pm on the Redstripe Live Stage.

Please note, if we are swamped with entries, we’ll be doing first-come first served, so get ‘em in quickly!

The First Contestants!

Thanks to these brave people for entering Mr & Miss Bug Jam in advance. There is still space on the day to enter, so if you are reading this on the day before the show, you can come along to the main stage and enter from 3pm on Saturday. Bring with you any CD, instrument, prop etc that you will need to do your act.
