Cornish Comedian Matt Price mixes jokes and stories with audience interaction. He has performed in 30 countries, including 4 tours of Australia and was described by the Scotsman newspaper as "fearlessly funny." Matt is known for having some of the most bizarre true stories from the wilder side of life. His easy going charm has made him a favourite on the UK and International comedy circuit and he has the skill to win over even the rowdiest of audiences. He returns to the Edinburgh Festival in August 2018 with another solo show.
Lanky Scot Leo Kearse is part of the new wave of raw, bold, American-inspired comedians taking the big UK clubs by storm. He works for Just The Tonic, Comedy Loft, Jongleurs, Top Secret, Backyard Club, TED Entertainment and many others.
As well as straight standup, he also performs at festivals and cabaret nights as the improvising Pun-Man (Leo is the 2015 UK Pun Champion). Pun-Man got through to the live auditions on Britain's Got Talent. Leo is the co-creator of sellout show Hate 'n' Live, which has top comedians hate on audience suggestions.
Ninia Benjamin is a tour-de-force of comedy… she's outrageously rude but above all sidesplittingly funny amd nice. Ninia was catapulted to stardom as one third of BBC2′s 3 Non-Blondes and has appeared in various shows including Celebrity Master-chef (a terrible chef but very funny), Total Wipeout (where she is very proud of beating the record set for slowest person "Ever" to complete the course) and ITV1's "Our shirley Valentine Summer" but it's on the live stage where her comedy talents really shine. According to her. If I fink its funny you'll find it funny" Ninia Benjamin"
Laura Lexx is one of the most sought after live acts on the UK comedy circuit. She has also appeared on Live at the Apollo (BBC Two) and is a regular host of The Comedy Club (BBC Radio 4 Extra). Following a critically-acclaimed run of her show Trying at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe, Laura won Best Performer in the Comedian’s Choice Awards and was featured in the Top 10 of Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe. Laura was also the winner of Best MC in the 2017 Comic’s Comic Awards and has been nominated as Best Compere in the Chortle Comedy Awards for the last 4 years in a row. Laura has supported Jason Manford, Tim Vine and Russell Kane on tour.
Dan Nightingale is widely regarded as one of the best performers working on the comedy circuit today. Mixing fiendishly accurate observation with energetic characterisations and killer punch lines, his comedy is original, playful, intelligent, poignant and exciting; sometimes ridiculous… but always hilarious.
Noel James was been treading the boards - some would say walking the plank – for twenty five years. An experienced, very original, comedian from Swansea who has headlined most comedy clubs across the UK, major festivals and internationally. His sketch shows have been seen on BBC Radio Wales with material that is highly original, cerebral, with some wordplay.
Mickey P Kerr
Leeds-based comedian, musician and social commentator Micky P Kerr is a breath of fresh air on the live comedy circuit. Fusing together music, spoken word and comedy, with his tongue often planted firmly in his cheek, Kerr has been described as “the bastard spawn of John Cooper Clarke”.
Already a familiar face on the live music circuit, Micky turned his hand to stand-up comedy in 2013 and quickly became “one to watch”. In 2018 Micky entered Britain’s Got Talent, where he proved to be a massive hit with both the public and the judges, making it all the way to the final, which was watched by almost 11 million people.
“I absolutely love you, you are hilarious!” David Walliams
Sometimes outrageous, always hilarious, observational and storytelling comedy for all.
A persona you will fall in love with. Award-winning comedian Nina Gilligan exploded on to the comedy scene in 2011 and is now a regular on the UK circuit, performing at clubs and venues all over the UK. Over the past few years, Nina has been a finalist in Hilarity Bites, Breaking Acts, Kill for a Seat and Real Radio XS Judged. She won an award for Hot Water Comedian of the Year in 2013 and was a finalist in English Comedian of the Year 2016.
A bolshier Mrs Merton, she's not one to suffer fools lightly - so watch out for a razor sharp wit used at will. Her act will leave you shouting for more!
Tom was sent to all-boys boarding school at age six. A world where ‘day kids’ are shunned and girls? None existent. But when, in his second last year the school decided to go co-ed, everything was to change. The total Fringe sell-out, star of Comedy Central’s Roast Battle and ultra-privileged Tower of London resident, Tom Houghton lifts the controversial lid on the incubators responsible for producing many of our country’s leaders. With a little help from 00s pop sensation Busted. ***** (The New European), ***** (One4Review), **** (Daily Telegraph), **** (Chortle).
